What is Life?
Central Dogma and Protein Synthesis

Protein synthesis is the creation of proteins in a cell. First the DNA in the nucleus is "unzipped" by a restriction enzyme then a new strand of mRNA is created by placing the corresponding baces upon one side of the DNA strand. The strrand then goes out into the cytoplasm where tRNA attactches to it in a ribososme and an amino acid strand is created, also known as a protein. The bases of the aforemention mRNA strand create an amino acid codon that can be read from the chart to the right.
Central dogma basically just states that DNA codes for mRNA
