What is Life?
DNA

DNA is the genetic material that organisms use to build every part of them. DNA is a unique code/order of nucleotides that code for protiens. DNA is present in every cell, in the nucleus in eukaryotic cells and in the cytoplasm as circular DNA in prokaryotic cells. Without DNA, no living thing would exist. DNA is a leading force in protein synthesis and is in the form of chromatids before DNA replicates in the s-phase of interphase in reproduction. DNA is made up of nucleotides, the bars and backbone of the pictured double helix structure. Chromatids are loose squiggles that look similiar to silly string.
